In this regard, developed countries have accumulated some experience in line with the law of market economy through years of exploration and practice. Using these experiences for reference is conducive to accelerating the smooth development of the recycling of end-of-life vehicles in China

the foreign ELV recycling and dismantling demonstration project has some typical characteristics:

(1) mature technology

for example, the "Scandinavian environmental vehicle recycling facility (ecris)" project participated by Volvo company in Sweden, which is a demonstration project for recycling ELVs. From 1996 to 1997, the first phase of the project established a demonstration project for the disassembly of all Volvo models. From 1997 to 1999, the second phase of the project will establish a demonstration project of car dismantling for all European models. Ecris not only stresses environmental benefits, but also pursues economic benefits. Its funds come from the sale of car dismantling materials, the contribution of shareholders and scientific research subsidies. Its research contents include environmental impact, material recovery, energy recovery, toxic substances, and coordinated transportation. Among them, if the engine and transmission can be repaired without spending too much money, they can be reused, tested and repaired by technicians, and then sold to repair shops for reuse. Ecris also gives these used engines a 30 day warranty

(2) national recycling network

for example, the Bavaria automobile factory in Germany, together with the environmental protection branches of Thyssen company, proisag company and Kleiner company, has established a similar sales chain of national recycling, which deals with the engines, batteries, glasses, safety belts, bumpers, door pockets, gasoline, lubricants, coolants, etc. of used cars by categories. It has also taken the initiative to provide a large number of computer software services to recyclers, making the recycling efficiency of various regions jump sharply. Ford has always been at the forefront of its peers in automobile recycling. Subsequently, Ford company also used Ford manufacturing technology to process used car parts in its own sphere of influence in the United States, and input relevant information into the computer network for all repair shops to inquire, and then used Ford company's sales and transportation network to timely transport and supply used car parts, thus forming an all pervasive automobile recycling network

(3) management informatization

the waste automobile recycling demonstration project completed by the Great Lakes Institute for recycling markets in 1998, including production process demonstration, equipment demonstration, warehousing logistics demonstration, parts reuse, remanufacturing demonstration, etc. the information of all processes is managed by computers, It also provides business process management software for car dismantling plants. (4) high utilization rate of auto parts

domestic work on the recycling, dismantling and reuse of end-of-life vehicles is constantly moving closer to the world.
